According to an article today in the Washington Post "nearly 50 million Americans, are experiencing food insecurities". Let me say that again, so it resonates, 50 million, of our approximately 332 million Americans are hungry. Most of these citizens are children.
How can that be? Why would the United States government, the riches country in the world let this happen to more than 15% of its citizens? What can we do about it? Please Please donate to your local Food Banks and Food Pantries.
This is the season for giving, so lets show our true colors "red white and blue" and do what we do best, help our fellow Americans.
